Standing out in the *flurry* of holiday messages:
building a sound marketing strategy and delivering successful campaigns
Digital communications can easily get lost…especially during the holidays. However, each year these campaigns were met with overwhelming successful, with open-rates ranging from 40-70%, and click rates equally as high.
Targeting donors and prospective donors segmented by the fundraiser, each year successfully reignited gift conversations and invigorated donors around a shared mission of advancing science and medicine at UChicago.
This success was built on careful messaging. Acknowledging each recipient’s unique relationship and interests at the University, along with current events– from nursing strikes to violence on campus and around Chicago, to the pandemic and its many polarizing topics such as mask mandates and vaccines– we carefully positioned ourselves as a leader in science and medicine while also spreading holiday cheer during difficult times.
